I received my first DSLR camera when I was 18, and embarked on a quest to learn the intricacies of photography as a creative outlet in my left-brained world. In an essence to broaden my horizons and gain a deeper perspective of culture and diversity, travel became a priority. At age 22, I began shooting global humanities and wildlife on my first trip to Africa. More than a decade later, I'm excited to share these images captured throughout my journey of photography and travel.
From photographing men worshiping at a mosque in India to a breathtaking encounter with a high and mighty Chinstrap Penguin in Antarctica, capturing the essence of humanity and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature is what I strive for. It's the intangible moments of joy, sorrow, love, and resilience translated into evocative photographs that I desire to share on a profound level. All of humanity has a story, and although a singular image cannot tell its entirety, it can allow us to feel. It's not always about capturing perfection. It's about seeking the raw, authentic moments where true beauty lies.
